Fundraising is one of the most important aspects of Rotarian life!  Currently we raise funds for so many projects too many to list here but including.

Youth Projects including School prizes, Youth Leadership Awards, RYLA, UTSC youth sponsorship, Youth Foundations Rotaract and Rotakids – in local schools. Forest Schools are a personal favourite of our President, giving an outdoor slant to teaching.

We support the Elderly – Concerts, Teas, and Christmas fare. We assist in sponsoring Vehicles, Gardens for the disabled and the famous Penny’s Corner Peace Garden.

Among more general charitable projects are – Air Ambulance, Boxes for troops (Inner Wheel), Daisy’s Dream, DebRA, Ian Rennie, MS society (research) Royal British Legion and U-Care cancer research. Recently we have raised thousands for the Thames Hospice.

Rotary projects – Polio eradication, Literacy Boxes, Shelter boxes, Life education Centres among only some of those we are proud to help. And medical aid for Ukraine.
