Fundraising is one of the most important aspects of Rotarian life!  Currently we raise funds for so many projects too many to list here but including:

Heart UK, Thames Air Ambulance, One Can Trust, Shelterbox and Aquabox.

Pre Covid : Youth Projects including School prizes, Youth Leadership Awards, RYLA,  Youth Foundations Rotaract and Rotakids – in local schools.

Currently, we are helping with Forest Schools which are a personal favourite of our President, giving an outdoor slant to teaching.

We support the Elderly – Day Centres, mini buses, gardens for the disabled and the famous Penny’s Corner Peace Garden in Bourne End.

More general charitable projects have been – Air Ambulance,  Ian Rennie, MS Society (research), Royal British Legion and U-Care cancer research. In 2023 we have raised thousands for the Thames Hospice in Maidenhead.

Rotary Projects: Polio eradication, Literacy Boxes, Shelter boxes, Life Education Centres and medical aid for Ukraine, these are only some of those we are proud to help.
