These are general meetings, invarably with a speaker and the President updates everyone on the many activities this club is involved in, as well as keeping informed of Rotary activity in the area / county / country and also info of world wide issues. It is also a great way to meet others on an informal basis and have the chance to vote on funding charities and organising events.
Alongside these activities, committees are set up to investigate charities and worthwhile causes and creating a calendar of events. We are closely working with other Rotary clubs and schools (Rotaract and Rotakids come into this category) and raising funds to help eradicate Polio (Rotary International) and the invaluable work the Inner Wheel do.
But we never forget the social side of life and we have a lot of fun ….!
